Life is what happens while you are busy making plans

An air traffic controllers strike in France. No flights, trains full, busy roads, I’m on my bike. Why would this affect me on quiet lanes? Mrs Mallett due to fly to Poitiers today to meet me for the weekend. That’s not going to happen…. Shame. I was looking forward to some gentle encouragement from home.
